Take a risk and let your students share something special about themselves with their classmates and you will be inspired. Our students took this opportunity and truly rose to the occasion by sharing a talent, ability or skill that we knew very little about. Some of the student-led sessions that were offered were Irish Step Dancing, Speaking Portuguese, Jewish Heritage, Playing Chess, Cooking, Taking a Slap shot in Hockey, and many more. We decided to try something new and put the spotlight on the students and in the end we had no regrets. Instead we were truly impressed with the level of responsibility that the students showed up with and how well they interacted with their classmates to share more about themselves and their uniqueness.
